This might be a odd complaint, but it's like this. First time I really noticed this in a Ubisoft game was when I recently played another Unity and the map was just absolutely filled with stuff and was very confusing. I turn off most of the stuff but it is still crazy. I've never seen a more over-whelming map in my life. The map is a cluster-fuck of icons and a legend that takes up the entire screen when showing it.

I miss my target but they still hear the shot and kill me. Heavy snow storm with limited visibility. The thresh-hold between being completely hidden/un-seen to being seen seems to be mere inches closer to the enemy even at a distance. Countless times have I tried to carefully plan my attack on a outpost, only to constantly have everything go to shit as soon as I am discovered. I understand the need to do so b/c of the shooting while driving but my-god if you are driving and need to stop, reverse and turn around. I am going to list what I like and then what I don't like. FarCry 4 has this weird aura about it that will frustrate me to rage-quitting but then will always draw me back b/c in my mind I love open-world games where i can plan my method of attack and what-not but there are some things with FarCry 4 that are just driving me nuts. 2 was terrible and 3 was cool but I just couldn't get into it. In all honesty the last FarCry I finished was the first one. The graphics are great, the gameplay is solid, the guns feel good, but there are quite a bit of annoyances/negatives that are almost pushing me over into shelving the game altogether.įor one, I love open-world games. I started FarCry 4 and I am about 10 hours into it and I just can't put my finger on what it is but it just feels off.
